Lord Wiliam Heuston was with his wife eating breakfast in the dining room. When he heard the shot, he rushed upstairs, found the corpse, locked the door not to let anyone in and called the police. He was an officier in the British army so he has a gun locked in a drawer and he put the key in his pocket.
