The suspect was in the dining-room with his wife / Lady Daphne and they were eating breakfast. When he heard the sound of a gunshot, he went on the crime scene , he discovered the corpse , he locked the door so that nobody touched anything and he called the police . He has a gun locked in the drawer of his desk and he keeps the key in his pocket. He served in the British army as an officier.
